Goose bumps. Ive dreamed of getting a bike built with the same geometry as my old maverick but with non shit components obviously. There was also a light grey Marauder with side pull brakes, 87ish. I know the one you are thinking of. That was another version earlier even? Like twonks, I too had a Bomber blue… I could always identify my skid marks down our street , must have been ish, and later a Timberline also blue, but no novelty skid marks.

A 15sp Maverick was my first MTB as well. This topic has 20 replies, 15 voices, and was last updated 1 year ago by eskay. Viewing 21 posts - 1 through 21 of 21 total. Cheers Posted 1 year ago.

Can't be arsed to write it all down again. So taller riders beware, at 6ft 3in and not with particularly long legs, I had to run the seatpost at its minimum insertion mark. This is perfect for beginners, who can often be left confused by front derailleurs. Its single 40t chainring is likely to hurt those who are used to a front derailleur though, at least on longer rides.

Another bonus of the Apex group is its excellent hydraulic disc brakes, these were a real delight to use and put powerful, predictable power at my fingertips. Latest deals.
