Resident 1y ago. I hope that helps ". People look out for one another and genuinely care about their neighbors! Great town events- Xmas tree lighting, girls night shopping events, town brewery specials, parades and fireworks! Resident 2y ago. Beautiful old homes and trees, with a caring engaged community. Love it. Come live here. Once again, come live here. I repeat myself again. Schools are very good and a lot of the parents are active in their kids lives.

The remodeled library is great and has many good events of its own. They are always on leashes and their owners always pickup after them.

My family and I have resided here for over thirty years and love it. I hope to live the rest of my life here until they carry me out! Also like the Food trucks and how we decorate for the holidays ". Resident 3y ago. I like it here because everything is closer and walkable. The downtown area is super charming with amazing restaurants and shops its BYOB for now There are TONS of events like art shows, girls night out, Christmas caroling, haunted walking tours etc.

I love it here so much! I am also really enjoy the gelato place as well. Easy walk to downtown and speed line. Butterflies and hummingbirds make their homes in the butterfly garden and the trumpet vine along the fence. Fabulous views year-round from the dining room, kitchen, master bedroom, sunroom, and deck. Great backyard for kids to play; however, the front is very safe as this house is located at the dead-end of Park Lane. Four cars can be parked in the driveway, another in the garage, and two at the end of the street-one of the few streets where residents are permitted to park overnight as it is a private lane.

This is a very quiet neighborhood that is only a short walk to the center of Haddonfield for shopping, dining, or hopping the PATCO Speedline into Philly for work or play. Gender Identity. Sexual Orientation. Protection from being unfairly evicted, denied housing, or refused the ability to rent or buy housing. On February 11, , HUD announced that it interprets the federal Fair Housing Act to prohibit housing discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity.

Parent Rating Average. HMHS is not worthy of its reputation. Haddonfield is made out to be some sort of paradise but it is no instead it perpetuates elitism. There is a tremendous difference between the way higher level classes are taught and the lower level classes.

I took a mixture of both and everyone who does will complain about this. AP and accel classes are often rigourous yet interesting and taught by great teachers. While the cp lower level classes are boring and taught by teachers I cant believe were hired. Haddonfield focuses on there top students being ready for the ivy legues which is great but often leaves less achieving students to fall through the cracks.

What bothered me the most about HMHS was the special ed program. I had an IEP for mild add. Rather than teaching special ed students to work around their learning disabilities the school work is watered down for them to a ridiculous point not typical accomodations made for special ed kids. The problem then becomes many of these students end up with all high A's in there classes because of the accomodations made get accepted to college and fail out because they were achieving those high grades doing the equivalent of 5th grade work at 17 years old.

Haddonfield also pushes everyone into college even severly learning disabled students who would be better off in a trade school. Haddonfield is also a highly competitive cutthroat environment. Friend groups are established young and rarely change. Everyone wants to be the best. Playing a sport is essentialy a requirement if you want to have any friends. Only a handleful of students do not participate in any sports. Students almost exclusively hang out with their sports team.

Crew kids are a friend group, cheer girls, Football guys, etc. Student Review 6y ago. Check out schools near Washington Ave. What Locals Say about Haddonfield. Dog Owners. Trulia User.
